Most of you did very well on the first “Old Geezer Test.” Here’s some more questions for you to ponder. Let’s see how good you are at remembering these things. What was the name of Caroline Kennedy’s (JFK’s daughter) pet pony? If you said “Macaroni” you are correct. What was a Duck-and-Cover Drill for school children? If you said “hiding under your desk, covering your head with your arms in an Atomic bomb drill,” you would be correct. (As if that would give you any protection) What was the name of the Indian Princess on the Howdy Doody TV show? If you said Princess Summerfallwinterspring you are correct. She was a puppet. What postwar car turned automotive design on its ear when you couldn’t tell if the car was coming or going? If you said the 1946 Studebaker, you are correct.

I can't be quite old enough. I didn't know any of these - and several seem aimed US readers - which is fine. :)

I have never heard of any of those before, which are quite clearly American.

You know, I had to do the duck and cover drill at my last job because this is earthquake country.

Well, we had to do it because of the Atomic bomb threat and like I said what good would that have done?
