The start of what is likely to be my last full week at the temping job, as next week is likely to end after just three days.
It was very busy today and I was mostly assigned to tipping heavy mail sacks onto conveyer belts for sorting by other staff which got quite exhausting.
After some food shopping I came home to find an attempt had been made to deliver a parcel for me during the day. Instead of leaving it with a neighbour the delivery courier took it back to the depot and left me a note inviting me to use apps or go online to tell them when I’m available. I arranged for it to reach me on Monday as I know what it will be and I’m in no hurry.

Behind the bin and by the backdoor ... favourite places for my delivery couriers today and yesterday. :)

@Poppylicious one of my neighbours is usually able o catch my mail for me when not here myself - they probably missed him too - our bins are too exposed to leave parcels by them

@arthurchappell My bins are too {we live in a house which is on a corner, with no front garden fence or gate, and a well used pavement running past}, but it doesn't stop them leaving them there. I think they just can't be bothered to spend thirty seconds opening the back gate, putting the parcel in a safer place, and closing the gate again!
