One day after the Baltimore Ravens lost their latest football game versus the New England Patriots by a final score of 30-23 at Gillette Stadium in Foxbourough Massachusetts, the Ravens released their kick returner Devin Hester.
Hester has signed a one year, $4 million dollar contract before the start of the current football season after he was released by the Atlanta Falcons three months earlier.
Hester was not able to score a touchdown via a kick return in 2016. Fumbling the ball five times plus having an average of 7.2 yards per punt return and 24.5 yards per kickoff return was not good enough for the Ravens who are in second place in the American Football Conference North Division with a record of seven wins and six losses which is one game behind the Pittsburgh Steelers for the division lead to keep him on their roster for the remainder of the 2016 football season.

I am afraid that it is the end of the line for Hester playing football in the league.
