Have you ever work as a waiter or waitress before ?

I did when I was still young and that was quite an experience to taste about the world. It was a tough job since I have to work from 5pm until 1am. By the time I got home it was almost 2 am and I needed to take my shower and hang around or got something to eat before I go to sleep. That's why I always slept at 3 am at that time. My legs was full of pain because I stood for a long time without too much opportunity to sit down. Thus, I need to use some warm water and soaked my feet in it to make it felt better almost every night. At the same time, I met with customers whom were hard to serve and the employer at that time wasn't really good neither. Anyway, it was only about a few months and then I have a better job after that. This was an experience to help me to growth in life and it was some kinds of good social experience for a young mam like me at that moment. When I look back , it wasn't too bad though. How about you ? Share with us ?

I am currently a supervisor previously a waitress but still prettt much means the same thing, I usually work from 11-1am on my feet and some customers I meet I swear I could write a book and you would not believe some of the things I have seen and heard however I have met some of the most genuine and amazing people because you can't work with somebody as a server and not know them inside and out

I've never worked as a waitress. Although my sister has. She's worked in various restaurants. She has had to work a lot of hours.

I worked as a waiter back in the 80s. I liked it, especially because there were good tips from the clients. I liked it because it required me to dress sharp and attend clients with promptitude and decency.
