Man used to walk barefoot and they proved to live much longer. Was their longetivity due to waking barefoot or other things, i.e. their diet? Being barefoot allows you body to be connected electrically to the earth, thus improving one's health. As you may know the feet's sole is where the nerve endings are. If the nerve endings are touched, nudged. It is the relationship between our body and the elctrons in the earth. Barefooting is favored by some people. Those who don't, consider barefooting risk hurting the soles of your feet There should be prepared safe barefooting area such as parks specially designed for barefooting. What's your take?

Yes. The importance of being barefoot is recognized in my country too. There are other reasons to be barefoot too. .....like not entering someones home with the footwear on...just like it is not permitted in temples. It has a lot to do with the explanation you have given here....the connection of the feet to the floor. ...and a sign of respect.

You can not only run barefoot but also walk on stone, dirt, grass or sand, which send electrons to your body, thus causing or creating health. It is said that since the introduction of new technology, we have been separated from the nature (i.e. wearing rubber shoes or sandal, etc.)

It saves the carpet. In England mostly that is the reason.

Interesting. I prefer shoes to protect my feet, although I love walking on my lawn and on the beach barefoot.

Beach is the best for barefooting. Then immersing our body in the water will also be one of the best in terms of health.

Since I grew up having something in my feet all the time, I am not sure if I can take barefooting.

Do research and find out what benefit we may derive from it.

I go barefoot a lot. As a teen I would even walk barefoot in the street. Maybe if your theories are true I will live a long time! On the other hand maybe someone just discovered your feet are safer with a sole under them?
