Great News

That is great! Years of enjoyment watching the birds and helpful to reduce stress. One of my neighbors has a hummingbird feeder and one of the babies thinks the pond is their home. That little bird chases me away from the pond real watch dog. The city worker was laughing up in the tree a couple weeks ago, as he saw me trying to avoid being hit by the bird. I have to admit seeing city workers sitting in trees eating their lunch really was a funny sight to see when I first moved into the house. The tree has a lot of branches and I told my husband the tree is talking and he thought I was joking and looked up and said somebody is in the tree.

Sounds like a nice investment. I love the idea of having a nice garden. I've never had my own place to start one yet.

@Fishmomma We do not have hummingbirds here in Switzerland. I fight all the time with the magpies.

10 years ago I would have used it for my daughters text books. It was a huge expense and any savings would have helped. I did earn here at Mylot 10 years ago and couldn't find a post about how I spent the money. The years sure have gone fast. Happy holidays

Years ago, I had a business selling water lilies and am considering growing large numbers of lilies next year. Several people have suggested to me locally that I do something I really enjoy to earn money. I still haven't decided what kind of business, as I do a lot of cooking and baking also.

I know people are really busy with the holidays and traveling whether in state or much further. I'm staying home or very close to home this year. I know there are so many things that people would use the money for right away or in the future.

That is a great way to see lots of television and movies. I do regularly view Netflix, as it has programming not available elsewhere.
