How About Some Animal Trivia?

I’m really studying my trivia notebooks this week, as you can tell, if you’ve been following my posts. I’m getting ready for “Jeopardy Night” at my son’s house later this month.
I keep explaining that because I don’t know who will read my post.
Here we go:
Did you know that the only other animal that we know of, besides humans that can stand on its head, is the Asian elephant.
Did you know that the biggest hog, whose weight was ever recorded, weighed in at 2,552 pounds and was almost 9 feet long? His name was “Big Bill” from Jackson, Tennessee. Can you imagine?
A group of frogs is called a “chorus” and a group of toads is called a “knot.” Who knew?
Now, here is an interesting bit of news to me. Did you know that baby alligators actually signal their mothers that they are ready to hatch from their eggs. Say what? Yes, the babies BARK, from inside their eggs, making a sound that can be heard from 50 feet away and then the mother DIGS up the eggs that she buried in the mud, so the babies can hatch.
I had no idea.

Yes, even then, we will not know it all. There is so much.
