I just read a post by @wildlittlefan asking us if we would like to be in the jungle. I´t reminded me of a movie I saw many decades ago. It was called The Naked Jungle (1954) and it starred Charlton Heston and Eleanor Parker, two greats of the XX century cinema. I have seen "bugs" films, but this is by far the best as it is the story of the march of the marabuntas, the killer ants, through the jungle and over a plantation. I checked it online and it can be seen ay youtube.

I saw that movie last year on a TV channel which shows the old classics. Very good movie.

I know I´m old. But it seems that old movies are a lot better than most of new movies.

@Kandae11 I don´t know if they were more or less violent. But the argument was well written so there wasn´t violence without meaning.

@marguicha I agree to some extent. They were less violent at least. I have seen marabuntas in my country - but luckily I was never bitten.

I think I saw some parts of the movie, but not the entire story. It must be a very good movie with lots of appeals to the senses. I should watch it one of these days

The bugs and other things there would make most of us so NO to his question. That movie would be interesting to see.

It is a good movie even if it is quite old.

I have seen this movie many times. The ants actually form a "flotilla" to cross the water.

Yes. And all that is shown at the movie. The most interesting part is that the legionanary ants were shown as is with no special effects.
