We're having a heat wave!

For about the last week we've been in the deep-freeze - not like people in the northern states are having, but deep enough for the south.
Temps have been in low 20's and one night 18 was the low. I don't go out so early but I do have to open the door and let Ruby out - which means I have to walk out onto the porch and open the porch door...so I get a little taste of the cold.
Well, today it was a lot better ...and the nice man on TV said it was 45 degrees...that's a huge improvement...and we are heading to the 50's with sun...Christmas Day should be over 60....I can handle that. The only snow flakes I'll see are those on the tree!
What will the weather be like in your neck of the woods Sunday?
Photo is mine.

Yes, and I'll take it. I remember a few years ago our first winter in this house ....we didn't even wear coats until after Christmas it was so warm.

@AbbyGreenhill We have snow every 3 or 4 years in my area and it does not last long. Last time was in 2012, so we have a chance to see a few snowflakes this winter which is a lot more cold than last winter

The weather here is like what you are experiencing and isn't it nice? I really hate it when it gets way too low and cold in temperature.

I am staying inside since I still don't feel up to par, but I know it's warm out since my husband took Ruby for a golf cart ride and he won't do that if he's too cold!

@AbbyGreenhill I use a stool to reach the top of the car, it was not necessary when we had our sport car, but this one is taller.

You wash the car? Even if I wanted to and the weather was nice I can't - I would not be able to reach the top of it, my husband has a hard time it's so big.

It is much warmer here then it was last week. They have giving sunshine and and 6C (42F) here for Christmas day. That is great for here. We are suppose to get rain in Christmas eve so we won't be having a white Christmas here.

It's supposed to be 78 degrees F here on Sunday. I was not happy about this until our heater went out in our house yesterday. Glad we won't be freezing!

BBBBuuuurrrr, 18 is way too cold for these old bones, hopefully it won't get that low here.
It's supposed to be in the 40's over night then 50s or 60s in the afternoons, I can handle that. I'm not looking forward to winter.
