At this time of the year much is said about Jesus Christ as the saviour of the world, the king of kings, etc.
Do you view Jesus this way? Do you think that this world can be saved any other way?
Do you even think this world needs saving or are we doing just fine?
What is your view of the world and it's future?
Get accurate Bible answers: Is Jesus God? Where did Jesus come from? What kind of person was he? How is Jesus the promised Messiah?

Many people say they don't read the news because they fear what they will see. Of course that is not the best approach because we should be aware of what is happening in our world, but let's face it - the news today is not very comforting. and yes - the world does need saving.

I agree! I am one that watches the news to see where we are as far as God's purpose for the earth. Jesus also told us to keep on the watch for events that would indicate his nearness to take over the affairs of the earth as king. I an convinced that we are very close and that is good news.

@Kandae11 Great! Soon this prophecy will be fulfilled:
Isaiah 14:7 Good News Translation (GNT) 7 Now at last the whole world enjoys rest and peace, and everyone sings for joy.
Not just a few lands but the whole world will be at peace. No wars or killing anywhere. No one cryinng because of oppression or because they do no have enough food. No typhoons or earthquakes to fear. What a glorious time it wil lbe to be alive then! Allelujah!

Do you think that many children could educate themselves without parents and teachers?

Yes, Jesus is the Savior of the world of mankind in the sense that salvation comes trough him. However, we must not be part of this world, meaning that we should not adopt the evil and selfish ways and spirit of this world for this world is passing away and only those that do the will of God will inherit everlasting life. (See John 15:18-19; 1 John 2:15-17)
As Peter correctly answered, Jesus is the Son of God. (See Matthew 16:16)
