Thanks Macy's for $20!

For the holidays Macy's handed out $10 promotional cards for the first 250 customers and stores opened at 7 AM!
No matter how much I love shopping you surely won't see me get out of bed for that kind of promotion.
Anyhow, about noon my boyfriend & I stopped by Macy's to pick up my last minute online shopping orders!
While in line, an employee walks around & hands everyone these $10 promotional cards! Since it was my boyfriend and I, we both received one each!
That was such a surprise since I'm sure the store had over 250 customers by then!
Anyhow, I went online & used the $20 toward a new pair of Nike Free Sneakers then I paid the difference. I've been eyeing the sneakers but I don't really need anymore ... now I can justify buying it! I'll be a Christmas present to myself lol in addition to everything else I bought for myself this month already.

Jcpenney participated in a lot of first X amount of customers gets a chance to win $10 or even $100 but I don't go to those since jcpenney is far

@AbbyGreenhill Yes! I really didn't need the sneakers and my boyfriend didn't want to stand in line again lol so I redeemed the giftcards online.
If I had redeemed them in stores I'd spent less out of pocket since there was a clearance section for kids I would have bought more clothes for my niece and nephew!
