Strange Cat Behavior

Let me know who else has a cat or cats that occasionally go a bit strange. Last year our cat Sid was a happy camper. We put up the Christmas tree and he would bat the ornaments off of the tree and enjoy seeing them roll and go chasing them. Then he calmed down and slept on a table next to a small ceramic Christmas tree that my grandma made a long time ago. This year we put up our little Christmas tree which you can see in the photo. We don’t trim it much just a bit and enjoy it. Those monkeys on the tree are my favorite ornaments and some shiny ones to give the tree some sparkle. The cat has been in the room once. He walked about and saw the tree and then went upstairs to the bedroom. Since then he goes out when needed, goes downstairs to eat but comes back upstairs and at present is lying beside me on a cabinet fast asleep. I don’t understand why he does not want to be in the living room with the Christmas tree this year. Hey, you know, he won’t tell me. What do you think?

Your tree looks lovely. I don't know why Sid doesn't like it. Maybe he is just refusing to acknowledge it.

Could be but he does remain more upstairs than down @JudyEv just how he wants it this year. He's a very independent cat.

By nature, the behavior of cats is already strange.
