I have a lot of experience with chronic illness. I have a rare chronic autoimmune disease called dermatomyositis. It is the inflammation of skin and muscle. It affects my muscle strength, speed, and flexibility and my skin sensitivity and appearance. I also have allergies and asthma. I also know many people who have chronic illness. My dad has diabetes type 2 and vertigo. My son has diabetes type 1, autism, asthma and allergies. My girlfriend has lupus, fibromyalgia, and srojens which are also autoimmune diseases. I have known people who have mental illness too like my exhusband and son's dad. I also know people who have post traumatic stress disorder, are paranoid, and anxious. I had a close friend who suffered from epilepsy and died earlier this year. What is your experience with chronic illness?

I hope your friend will live as long as possible and she is brave just like my friend was when she was alive. I miss her.

Mine is uric acid, tooth decay, and hearing loss. But at least I haven't experience the illness you mentioned over there. That's gotta be hard. Well, we all die some day I suppose.

God bless you and yes it is hard but I have learned and continue to learn to survive. It is true that we all will die one day.
