My 5 year old daughter was right in the middle of the night last night when we work around 2:30 saying her ear hurt and she had an ear infection and need medication.
I wait till afternoon to take her to the doctor. You might think that was mean of me to wait that long while she wasn't feeling well and hurting. But she is 5 and can be very dramatic. I was very tried and couldn't drive and the same for him husband. He said he had a hard time with just 30 minutes of sleep driving his school bus to pick up the kids this morning. So we both took turns napping. My daughter napped, stopped crying in general. She ate and just relaxed with her brothers. Once we all recovered so much need streatch to safely go to an urgent care we did.
It was a wait because its flu season, plus a nasty stomach bug going around so we had to wait a little once we got a room to be seen. But once seen we where in and out in 5 minutes. My girl has an ear infection, outer ear infection, and a possible popped ear drum which is why hear ear hurts. We have medication for the next 10 days for her. This is her second one in a month. She had one a few weeks back in November.

She is feeling good. Then medicine works quick especially since it's the expensive one for allergies.

I guess it's good news. Although if she does get too many ear infection we will have to take her to an ENT and get tubs out in her ear then. That's common for kids with lots of ear infections.

@TheInvisibleMan either way it's not bad a thing. All a rib does is pop your ear drim to allow fluid to leave the ear which helps keep infections from happening.

Yes this post is from last year. She is okay now a 7 year old pain in my butt. Her ears are good she has small canals which cause infections easily when she get sick. She hasn’t had any in almost a year so the combo nation of nause spray helps with that.
