Why Drink Tea? Part One

White, green, oolong or black teas have plant-derived compounds called polyphenols. These help to strengthen the immune system and can protect you against diseases and that includes arthritis. Drinking teas also boosts T cells and they react against viral infections and bacterial ones.
Drinking green tea, which has anti-inflammatory properties, can stop progression of arthritis by blocking interleukin-1 which is a pro-inflammatory cell.

Black tea seems to have the caffeine in it. I like green and oolong.

@celticeagle I like almost all of them. There is one herbal that I really don't like, very bitter. Knowing me, it's probably the one with the highest antioxidants.
