Friend or Foe

I have always valued friendship. I learned, as I became an adult that everyone is not your friend. Also you cannot befriend everyone. Some people do not know how to be a friend. While others are loyal to people who will never be a friend, just a foe. Some foes are under cover. They only care as long as you can be a listening ear or have something else they need. Therefore, they were never friends just foes in disguise. A friend or foe can you tell the difference?

Sometimes it takes an emergency in your life to find out who is a friend and who is not.

I'm learning. But its very difficult to for me to identify. I just find it out myself when the person starts to distant themselves when its my turn asking for help or If suddenly I cant help them anymore due to some circumstances. I guess those events were actually a blessing for they opened my eyes.

@diosabella,The more you trust your instincts the better you will become at identifying a friend. A friend will often know if you are facing a challenge without you telling them. Sometimes a friend will be there for you when they themselves are facing a challenge. Friends are rare too, acquaintances are many.

That is so true. Not everyone wants to be your friend and you do not want to be friends with everyone. I hate those that stab you in the back and in front of you act like they are your best friend.
