Finally, I am starting to receive some post cards from my postcrossing.com connection. I was so excited when I got back from North Carolina and checked my mail at the Post Office. There were FIVE post cards. One from Salem, Oregon. One from China. One from Taiwan. One from Belgium. One from the Netherlands. So, I registered all of them and am now hoping that the ones I sent out recently will reach their destinations and soon I will be able to send some more and receive some more. This has been a FUN experiment for me. The post cards have all been nice, but the STAMPS from the different countries are even MORE interesting. My grandson collect stamps and he is also excited about my Postcrossing connection. Do any of you belong to Postcrossing.com? I already know that some of you do.

That is a site I never heard of. Is it all random mailings? I am assuming it is. Sounds interesting and fun. I might look into that.

Yes, take a look at the site. It will explain how it works. It was very slow getting started but now it seems to be going much better. Once you sign up, you can send out FIVE post cards to the addresses they give you.. After that, when the addressee receives your post card, they register it at the site and then you will be able to start receiving post cards. And when you receive the post cards, you register them and the whole process keeps working. As long as you do your part, in mailing out post cards and registering those you receive, the exchange continues. I am enjoying it immensely now, but it took about six weeks for it to start revolving. Now, it should be a steady stream of sending and receiving.

@IreneVincent Okay, cool. I will check it out and see if I can get into that. If not me maybe my son or daughter would like the site.

After a slow start it seems you are now full steam ahead. You will have much more interest in your mail-box now.
