The barbecue was a hit!

The barbecue that I and my old friends organized for a long time finally happened earlier today (and ended about an hour ago) and it was a real success! 
The main reason for this was that in addition to being very well organized, all my friends came (including those who lived a little far). Some of these friends I had not seen for years, and it was really a pleasure to have them welcomed in my house again. One of the greatest happiness of this life is to be able to say that I have real friends in my life.

I am so glad you had a great time with your friends. Barbeques can be a lot of fun. I have attended some African ones where the meat served was amazing as they do whole steaks and marinade everything. English barbeques pale by comparison with pale or burnt sausages and insipid burgers.
A party for real friends is a pleasure to give. I am doing this Monday as I could not do the one I planned before Christmas.
