I came across this photo a day or two ago and thought you might enjoy it. It was at the entrance to a very big caravan park on Bodensee (Lake Constance) on the Rhine River in Germany. The caravan park was huge with its own very comprehensive supermarket, a hotel, fancy restaurant and a number of permanent residents. I thought the pig was very cute. We often came across some lovely ornaments of these types in the various caravan parks that we stayed in.

Neat..
When it warms up some I will definitely hunt for a few of those horses I mentioned and post a few pictures of them..
The first time we traveled into Buffalo, NY there is a statue of a buffalo right on the thruway.. it is life size and when we first saw it for a split second I thought it was real and it scared me, until I realized it was a statue..

@JudyEv Boston had some great statues of Paul Revere and Sam Adams and one about the Irish famine. It was really cool..

@katsmeow1213 Ireland has a lot about the famine but some are really confronting. Gaunt bodies, haggard expressions - all totally understandable but not comforting.

@katsmeow1213 I suppose I just didn't expect it. We didn't have much travel experience back then.

I could have him in my garden. He would liven the place up.

We are very lucky I know. I hope we're able to do a bit more travelling before our health or whatever forces us to stop. How are your feet now?

Just love that pig. I would love having a pig like that in my garden. I know my cat would hope right on.

(You might already know but the terms over-horsed or underhorsed are used when a horse is too small or too big for the rider - hence under-pigged.)
