Favorite "Fly" Songs #7 - "Learn to Fly"

This is corny, but we're really flying now as we reach #7 in my Favorite "Fly" Songs series: "Learn to Fly" by Foo Fighters.
Led by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl (guitar and vocals,) Foo Fighters formed in Seattle in 1994, and have been making catchy alternative and hard rock tunes ever since. The band has won 11 Grammy Awards and has sold over 30 million records worldwide.
(Fun Fact: Grohl named the band after UFO's reported by World War II fighter pilots, known as "Foo Fighters.")
From their 1999 album There is Nothing Left to Lose, "Learn to Fly" was an international hit, reaching #19 on the Billboard Hot 100 (their first appearance on that chart,) and #1 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart. The song was certified Gold in the US and Canada, Silver in the UK, and Platinum in Australia.
The song's accompanying video is highly entertaining, so much so that it won a Grammy for Best Short Form Video. Enjoy!

Great song and video. I also love the video of the 1,000 musicians and singers covering the song to persuade the Foo Fighters to play their town in Italy.

@teamfreak16 Yes, they added the date. You can find it under Rockin 1000. I won't link to it as the director's speech at the end of the full 7.29 version contains the odd profanity and I'm not sure what the position is regarding that here.
