The Void seems so surreal

Its Monday again - I am not particularly a Monday fan, but today I was glad it had arrived because there are things to do to get the wheel turning.
This year started with a very busy time, looking after grandchildren, getting my daughters settled in their work-place (cleaning and other physical jobs) and now the mad rush is over and the void seems so surreal!
I have started to make "to do lists" on Sunday so that my week, with everyone working and back at their posts, don't drag by with just mundane projects and wasted time. I dont like time wasted and since I have chosen my motivation of 'memento vivere' for the year, then that is precisely what I need to do - REMEMBER to live!

Always something to do. I do need to be careful not to get too caught up in some activities....then I don't get anything else done.

yeah, I need to figure out what all I need to get done, bit by bit getting the house cleaned out and things sorted.

Bowls started with a big bang already and on Saturday we play our first provincial Ladies Pairs palyoffs. Then I am fully booked for the next 5 Saturdays to play competitions in neighboring small farm towns. Since our provincial players are busy with their practices, there are plenty of fund-raising competitions to play. They are fun but we have had to incorporate two new players in our team of 4 - since the other two are playing provincial
