I didn't get much sleep last night as the man I take care of had a rough night. I was awake most of the night and was up all day today. i am tired but not ready to call it a night. Have you ever been that way?
I know sleep is important but there are times when my body keeps saying, stay up. Have you ever been this way?

I had a hard time sleeping last night as well. After staying up on the weekend I have falling asleep earlier on week nights.
I fell asleep finally and then was woke up at 2am by a car screeching its breaks on the slippery road. Then the garbage man stopped around the neighborhood collecting all the garbage. At 5:30am I got a call that there was a 2hr delay at my daughters school and my phone malfunctioned and set an alarm off that took me awhile to get it shut off.
Hopefully after the lack of sleep last night we will sleep much better tonight.

I go through phases like this. I have had trouble getting to sleep for a few nights this week. Thankfully, last night I slept really well. I hope you are able to get your rest.

@velvet53 Sleeping away from home is never good for me. I feel somewhat uncomfortable. Is that why you don't sleep well?

@Shellyann36 The bed is comfortable and all. I have an intercom in the bedroom so in case Don needed me. He coughed a lot and I heard that and any other noise that he made.

Yes, sometimes the more you don't sleep, the less you want to sleep but eventually it will catch up with you so be prepared.

I have experienced that from time to time. Last night was one such. Went out, went to bed late and then got a call at 6am when I was in a deep sleep. It was an emergency but means I had almost no sleep.

As an insomniac, I go through this every single night. I get tired around 9 and 11 pm and nope...nope. Will not sleep. I cannot fall asleep until after 2am. it is so annoying haha
