Rush Limbaugh's Primary Objective

During the election it was unclear if Rush Limbaugh would support Donald Trump or the Republican Establishment. Limbaugh helped build the Republican Establishment and its ideology and Donald Trump ran against the establishment and its ideology. Ultimately, Limbaugh supported Trump as his primary objective is to stop the left. The Republican Establishment and its ideology are a secondary concern. Did Limbaugh make the right choice?

I haven't listened to Rush much in the past few years, but it seems to me that he's spent a good deal of time blasting the "Republican establishment" that caved to the whims of the liberals. I think that is part of the reason Trump won: people are sick of the "establishment," period, be it Republican or Democrat.
