There are many online places where you can earn such as here, myLot as well as other places. A lot of these sites have a minimum payout. I have had happen to me a few times, where the site closes down before I hit that minimum payout mark. ,Therefore time and energy that I have spent earning the amount that I have done so far has been wasted. I request payout amount when it gets to the minimum level and at the required time so I do not lose if the site goes down. Many people tell me that they wait and save up till they get a large amount. What do you do? How do you feel about this?

I do the same as you. I cash out as soon as I can. If I am going to save up, I save my cash outs in PayPal or Amazon. I too have been burned by sites that folded just as I was ready to cash out.

There are many scams online and therefore we have to be careful to it. Before I work for an online earning website, I want to check whether it is legit enough because I don't want my efforts to be in vain. Of course I will request the payment as soon as I can reach the payout. I don't want to wait any more because it will be my money once I get it.

Yes there are scams online, but there are actually some that I participated in and got paid many times and all of the sudden they were gone.

I understand what you mean. I have done that in the past. We just don't know what sites will stay around. But we all know that MyLot is solid and honest. That's why we stay here and stay active.

I was a member of myLot when they were here first. And yes they folded up and were honest ant let us know and paid us what we has earned. Most recently there was a forum that I was on and one day went in and they were gone. I contacted some friends and they said one day they were just gone! Another one let us know they were closing but did not pay us what we had earned that was not at the minimum goal.

@dfollin That happens to a lot of sites online. I found MyLot many years ago and remained a member. But I recently found another site similar to this but slightly more advanced with the types of posts. Which by the way is a nice change off. And so far they seem real legit and honest like MyLot. Hopefully they will stick around for the long haul.

I too lost $$ with sites that went down. I got so paranoid, one of my sites did not offer a lot of projects for about a month, so I cashed out and closed my account. Guess what - they are still in business With another site, it looked like they were going down - one day they listed only 5 projects. This is a site that offered 200+ usually. So, silly me, I took a 5k word project that I couldn't finish. They fined me, but I didn't worry, thinking they wouldn't be around. Again, I was wrong and have been working diligently writing small articles (150-200 words or FB posts) and have almost paid off my fine. You just never know

That is right you never know and searching for their site being a scam cannot always be reliable either. I have worked with sites that are very dependable yet they can be found on search engines as a scam.

@dfollin. Yes, though it's usually helpful to read a few reviews of each site before signing up.

With most sites, I hit the redeem button as soon as I reach the payout minimum. Like you said many sites go belly up and I want to get the money I've earned.
