When she started asking me about her phone, I thought she misplaced it again. Looks like it's even more than that.
She just learned that on her way out of the jeep that her bag was open. I checked her small bag and it was indeed easy to open. I guess she wasn't paying attention to her bag that the crook took his fast chance.
She wanted my other phone though but it hasn't been converted yet. I hope she be careful next time, it could have been her wallet.

She had her face-book log in to that phone but I quickly change the password of it. Good thing I told my brother about it or her FB could have been hacked as well @just4him

@Letranknight2015 I'm glad you got it changed so nothing will happen now with her account.

@just4him well, so far it's simple but a bit more complicated.

Oh , that was sad . Indeed , if you are not attentive to your bag , a thief beside you can easily get it from your bag without you noticing it. But I bet, somebody saw it done it's just that he/she is afraid that the thief might have cohorts in the jeepney and mob him/her.

Hello @SIMPLYD No she wasn't very attentive to her small bag, any skilled thief could have got it so easily. No one could have seen it because they were people going down from the jeep.

one of my colleagues narrated that when she rode at the back of a tricycle driver, she was between the driver and another man. she felt her bag being opened by the other passenger, until when she saw it, the man went down the corner of the road, not showing his face to my colleague.

Is the tricycle that big? @ridingbet how could three people fit in the bike like that. Did she lost her phone or was able to stop him? It's just so dangerous outside.

@ridingbet That's definitely a huge bike. I wouldn't ride with more people on the back than me.

@Letranknight2015 the back riders are 2, so the total passengers are 5 (3 inside and 2 at the back). sometimes, staying at the back is better than inside especially if one passenger inside is fat.

My mom would have felt that @tech40 but unfortunately what happened to her was a lot easier.

unfortunately, opportunists are everywhere. i worry about her contact list, though. whoever took her phone might send scam texts to those numbers. and maybe she can use a different bag that's more secure?

While going around in Manila sometime before, I came across some thief-secure bags/shoulder bads which cost from P7,000 to as much as P17,000.00. It's diffcult to open it's locks (by a thief) and the material of the bag cannot be penetrated when sliced. Your credit and ATM cards cannot also be penetrated by malicious scanners.

It was stolen, there's no way she can find it from some one she doesn't know @FayeHazel
