My son is sick. He had abdominal tympanism, and he was nauseous yesterday. I had to give him medicines to address his abdominal discomfort with Omeprazole, Hyoscine N-Butylbromide, Dimethicone, efficascent oil liniment, hot compress, and lastly, the blessed oil of our Lady of Piat.
He was nauseous, so I told him it would be better if he vomited. He did, and it was projectile vomiting. I had to wipe the floor where his vomitus splattered.
I am also sick; I have this unproductive cough and flu-like symptoms, but I felt my son was more sick than me. His appetite last night was poor.
My sister told me that my son should be brought to the hospital last night, but when I asked my son if the pain was severe, he said YES but it was BEARABLE. Besides, I told my sister that I am sick also.
The blessed oil apparently gave a relief to my son;he was able to sleep last night.
My sister is once again anxious. I tell her than I can deal with sickness but not emotional drain like anxiety from her.

@ridingbet It is sometimes like that too in the house. Sometimes, all I need is just a body massage to make me feel good.

@annierose that old lady who gives us massage lives far from our home, and she is already too old to travel even at short distances. that is why i can just massage myself with efficascent oil or the blessed oil of Our Lady

i appreciate my sister's concern, but sometimes, when she mentions about her aches and pains when we are sick, sometimes add more to the stress that i experience.

@ridingbet I also heard that the flu shot this year is better than usual it's working very good when apparently in past years it hasn't been that good. I have never had the flu in my life so I never get the flu shot.

my son is well now, my lady; i feel better now too. sis? still complaining of her body pains like stiff neck, weak right hand and arm, blurred vision, and other sickness which is 'becoming worse' when she tells me ( she is a mild case of hypochondriasis, i think

@hereandthere that was told to us by our cardiologist. while my sister worries much, our doctor commented on how i deal with my sickness with courage, unlike her who is anxious all the time1 person likes this

It's a good thing you're a care provider and was able to take care of your son. At least its not that serious, I hope you both recover now.

yes, and as a nurse, i was able to assess the pain felt by my son, and he needed no hospital but only the oral medicines. i advise him about his dietary intake and activities as well.
