Sadly, Mike Connors passed away after being diagnosed with leukemia a week before and he was 91. I loved watching this actor and he made his start in 1952 with Sudden Fear. Most will remember him in Mannix played Joe Mannix from 1968 to 1975. He won a Golden Globe Award for the role. He was very busy and was in lots of movies and television shows over his long career. I saw him on Murder She Wrote a show I never missed and still enjoy the reruns. Some more places you may have seen him in The Love Boat and Two and a Half Men, War and Remembrance, Island in the Sun and The Ten Commandments. He married in 1949 and had 2 children. Rest in peace you will be missed by so many people.

He did live a long life which most of us would like. ME-TV has been playing Mannix in the middle of the night during the week. Trivia: he once billed himself as Touch Connors.

His name did not trigger a light in my mind, but I immediately recognized his face. At least he lived a very long life.

I had to look up who he was and I certainly recognised him. To be an actor that age and still have appeared in a show as recent as Two And A Half Men is quite something.
