My computers are infected with malware I think

I had the strangest experience with my electronics this morning. I thought someone had hacked into my mylot account and it wouldn't let me change my password. Then I noticed all my texts messages and facebook messages and posts were not written as I had written them. My mans son was on a game site earlier in the week and it installed malware or something on the computer. I thought I removed it all but it apparently was still causing problems I didn't realize. When I turned my wifi off so my ipod and phone werent using the wifi my texts and messages and posts appeared normally again. I got a hold of the guy who works on my computers every few years (as needed) he said it likely has some nasty malware. He took the laptop and my desktop with him to work on today or tomorrow. I was an absolute mess today over it messing with all my electronics. I have such bad anxiety over it all.

I'm glad you sent it out to get fixed. I don't let anyone on my computer. I have Windows Defender, which comes with Windows and it tells me if a site has malware then I have the choice whether to continue going to it or not. Of course I don't! I also have a free program called Malware Bytes that I run every other day and it keeps the tracking crap off my computer. I hope your PC recovers!

Malware Bytes is what the one computer found but apartently either didn't remove it fully or it spread via wifi to my other devices. I will have to download malware bytes on my other computer when I get it back.

@paigea I am thankful he lives locally and is professional! He only charged me $40 so that was a relief as well!

I had mcfee and Norton on my computer before and they wouldn't work together so I just have one on each.
