Miss Universe Fever

Tomorrow morning, starting at 8:00, our eyes would be glued to the television to see who will win in this year's Miss Universe Pageant.
We are wishing the Philippine's bet, Maxine Medina, all the best, though she said she will be happy if she will land in the top 12 among the 86 candidates.
Many Filipinos are so excited about the event which will be held in a big mall in Manila.
Does your country have a representative in the Miss Universe Pageant? Good luck to her.

Of course I am for Ms. Phils. I've seen that our own candidate Maxene did very well in the swimsuit, national costume and evening gown competition but we have yet to see how she fares in the question and answer if and when she makes it to the Top 5,

@acelawrites Unfortunately she did not. She has not much brains obviously with the way she answered the question assigned to her.

such contests are frowned on by the UK media so I have no idea if we have a contestant involved or not

Well, France nailed all of them unfortunately. But maybe it's time other nation should have the crown. It would be too greedy for Miss Phils to have it again.
