You didn't need an interpreter!

I just couldn't bear to watch it! No wonder Miss Philippines didn't get to top 3. Maybe it's got to do with the answer but why did she had to speak English when she had an interpreter! Not sure what the interpreter felt when she spoke English in her answer but even the answer didn't qualify for her to get into the top 3. Oh, well Thanks to her participation. Some day perhaps we might get a better candidate. I think Pia's three attempts at the BB Pilipinas made her an experienced candidate for MU.

I knew she will be eliminated after she answered the question. She has beauty but not much brain. Anyway better luck next time and hope next time we will have a more brainy one.

Hello @salonga No, I think she just lack the experience and she was quite nervous. Unlike Pia who had tried thrice in the BB Pilipinas that got her the edge, I think Maxine just got nervous.

It's hard to stand in front of an audience and answer a question not to mention the high expectations of 100 million Filipinos. She did what she could. But it was just not enough.

Nope she didn't need that interpreter @Beatburn and it cost her in the Q n A.Yeah, she did her best but it's one time chance anyway.

I can't blame her if she got nervous with the Q and A with the interpreter @ridingbet

@Letranknight2015 that is why she should have answered the question in Filipino. while the interpreter was saying the question, she should have composed a good answer in her mind. as what a former beauty queen said, that may be a delaying tactic for Maxine M.

I was not able to watch the question and answer portion (I only got to watch up to the top 9 because I was inside the bus then) and I know she didn't win but it's okay. She was able to reach the top 6. That's already something to be proud of.

Yes at least she was able to reach top 6 but I can't help but become disappoint with the Q and A because it was just waste for her @brokenbee

@brokenbee If that's the case it was her big mistake to have that interpreter in the FIRST PLACE. Causing her to loose.

@Letranknight2015 While watching the Q&A portion, I think the interpreter erroneously interpreted the question to Tagalog which made Maxine answer it incorrectly.

Her English is good but her answer is Meh, She should have gone for Tagalog so she can have a flashier answer.

I also wondered why she did not answer in Filipino! And my! her answer was a 180-degrees turn from the question!

She said she even paid for this interpreter @acelawrites not only the answer wasn't good, the interpreter was just a pure waste..

Same thoughts here. I wonder why she won for Bb Pilipinas. She had it and she just let it slipped away.

She was just nervous @JustBhem and probably needed more training. Maybe she was doing it better in the BB Pilipinas.

That is a shame. I think she should have answered in her home language -

Well, Like I said she was probably nervous with the translator @FayeHazel which wasn't necessary.
