Do You Help The Homeless?

As someone who has been homeless before, and remember the struggles really well, I and my husband Love giving back and helping the homeless when we can. We have been known to go places they hang out at give them food, etc and just sit and talk with them. Many times, we have been known to also Pray with them. We are the ones responsible for the Homeless ministry for our church and there have been many things that have come from doing this. God has blessed us in many ways because of our committment and I cannot wait until the weather warms up so we can do it again. We have been known to also Pay It Forward and buy them some Coffee or a soda from time and just watch their faces light up. What bugs me is people who think they Love living this lifestyle and will never do anything to change it. How do you know their story and what they are capable of if just given a chance.

That must be a Blessing within itself. I know it would be awesome but then I would always be wishing there was something I could do more for them.

Actually the church offer to some is to really give ghem education to their kids and really help them to change their wrong mindset and help them to earn. I always give them food. Education for their kids and help them to have livelihood. Some of them are already graduated in college and earning their 6 digit salary. That is so amazing but those who stubbornly refuse they still there at the square area...

Not everyone is going to accept being able to be shown a better way to live. Many times people just are afraid of having a better life. And if they have any disabilities often times no one is wanting to help them learn how to do what it takes so they often give up. But Thanks for what you are doing.

Cannot wait to get back at it. Loved seeing the tears of appreciation when they were handed something or we offered a prayer with them, and then when they were able to get back on their feet the many Thanks we get

I am sure many times you miss the looks of appreciation and thanks when you did this. Have you ever done this since you moved?
