So I mentioned that my daughter has a new uniform which includes very, VERY stiff "blouses". I didn't realize she had to wear them to classroom training. Washing them using fabric softener has not helped lessen the stiffening. She is developing a rash on her neck from the chafing of the stiff collar.
Does ANYONE have any idea how to take such stiffness out of a seemingly heavily starched collar?

Have you tried washing it using vinegar instead of fabric softener? It won't smell like it when dried, but it can help remove whatever has starched the collar.

@JudyEv I don't hear her complaining anymore. I saw her when she arrived home yesterday... the first time I saw her in her new uniform. Wish I could take a picture but she won't let me. I still don't have one of her in her WestJet uniform.
