I was just watching Inside The Actor's Studio with Cuba Gooding Jr. as the guest. I didn't know this about him but he spent his junior high and highschool years living in a car. It was his siblings, mom and a 200 pound Great Dane. They'd move into a motel and his mom would pay for it as long as she could and then they would move to another one. What a way to live, huh? I was homeless once for about three days and I was traumatized.

He is so full of life. Yes, homeless can be just a easy lifestyle for some. I sure couldn't do it for long.

@celticeagle I've wondered how folks are doing in our bitter, weird winter this year. At least now there is a warming center that helps for the worst of the night hours.

before i met John my last late hubby, i was homeless a few times and it really scares me. guess it does everyone. sad

Its awful to be without a good house I know but not saying more than that. I did not know that about him either.
I know a few other stories similar closer to home.

He knows hardship then. Glad he overcame his circumstance so well then Celtic.
I am sorry you experienced homelessness too. It is not fun, I have experienced it too.

He is so full of life and seems so happy with his life. Yeah, being homeless is meeting with reality we don't want to have.

No, they shouldn't but it does happen sometimes. I wonder how parents can keep their kids when they are homeless for long periods.
