How to Grow Your Own Orange Tree, Part 6 - 11 days on 2Feb17
I need ten little planting pots, some good dirt, and someone to come over here and move all of the stuff we have piled up over the past 30 years of living in this nice house. We have to move the stuff to the new house in a day or two and my back feels as though someone whacked into it with a great big 18-wheeler truck.
My advice to one and all is "Stay put."
Anyway, these little Satsuma orange tree sprouted seeds now have really long roots on them and are all yelling to get off of the wet paper towel deal and into some nourishing dirt. I told them that they should do as I did and go crawling around up in the attic in the old house. They would just never know what treasures they might find - such as an old WW-2 gas mask, lots of dust, and even a feather or two from a bird that somehow managed to get into the attic when no one was looking.

@pgntwo - Friend PGN - Do you remember that old expression about "A bird in the hand is worth more than two in the bush..."? Well, from the old book, "True Bills," comes the expression, "A bird in the hand is an embarrassment unless you happen to be in the poultry business." (So much for birds...) -Gus-

Isn't it amazing how much we accumulate in only 30 years? I've lived here 23 years and am trying to down size but it's hard trying to figure out if what I have might be sellable, living on a fixed income makes it necessary to try to sell what I can rather than just to junk it all.
