Continuing the focus on love and relationships: What if you were given the choice of having a steady , unexciting kind of relationship which lasts, or one that is thrilling, blissful and simply blows you away - but unfortunately doesn't last for more than a year? Your choice of course would depend on how you plan to live your life and exactly what you are looking for in a relationship. Which one will it be?

A difficult choice. I would say it depends on one's age. In my youth I would not have hesitated in choosing the one that is exciting and thrilling. But now that I'm in my sunset years, I am more comfortable with my unexciting and dependable relationship...which is blissful.

Oh yes indeed, age would definitely be a factor. From your profile pic you don't look like someone in her sunset years.

I can't answer this. I would chose neither. I have married the love of my life, and our marriage is still going strong after many, many years. It is steady, but blissful, thrilling, and still blows my mind away. I am very blessed.

I would take the unexciting long lasting relationship for sure! I want love to last not to be swept away and then be left mourning.

I think I would do that as well, and try my best to make the long lasting one exciting.

I don't think that I could be part of a relationship that is unexciting, I like thrills and fun too much!

you have to be with the one you love. relationships matter most especially when there is honesty and trust between the 2 of you.

This is a tough question, but if I had to choose between the two, I would take the second choice. I would spend our time together like having a one year honeymoon. .

You would also have to make a plan about how you will get on with your life after it ends.

I would take the relationship that would last for a very long time.
