Remember When America Was GREAT?

I just came across this on Twitter and it's just so very true! Instead of the talk about making America great again that we kept hearing during the campaign and the transition we should have been savoring the greatness we've always had. We should have been appreciating, regardless of our political affiliations or views, the fact that we had a President and a First Family who represented us well around the world. NOW we have a "leader" who spends most of is time "tweeting", watching cable news and watching other TV shows such as Saturday Night Live and Celebrity Apprentice and who is the most anti-American President in history, comparing the US to the evil killer Vladimir Putin in his interview with Bill O'Reilly. Let's MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN and IMPEACH TRUMP!!

I am not big on politics and I love this country but I hated that statement a bit. Lets Make America Great Again. In order to do that it would have had to be great to begin with and it never was or has been great. I admit it is the best place to live given what goes on in other parts of the world but its far from great okay maybe. We have freedoms that most other places don't have. We sadly still are like a house filled with cats and dogs who can't seem to ever get along. As for the POTUS well hes not my favorite person. I think he might mean well but his way of doing things can be as horrid as replacing your lufa with an SOS pad straight Harsh. I just hope that if he doesn't get impeached he does make some beneficial change for the majority of the population.

You're more generous than me, I don't think he "means well" at all.

The ratings can be manipulated. Well, good luck with that impeachment. maybe you should get rid of that College Electorate or something.

I´m not an american citizen so I can´t answer your post. But I have never heard people in the US talk about a just elected president as you are writing now. It reminds me about how my country parted in 2 antagonic positions after the coup.

You still have every right to state your opinion. You're right, there's never been a newly elected President like this one, he got to a majority disapproval rating in just 7 days, an all-time record by hundreds of days. Every President seems to go through a rough patch or two where things aren't going well and the majority of the voters blame the POTUS rightly or wrongly but it usually takes hundreds of days for that to happen. They usually get what we call a "honeymoon period" where even those who voted for the other party approve and are at least willing to give the President a chance. This moron squandered any chance he might ever have had of uniting the majority behind him. He's "united" us alright, that's obvious by the thousands, sometimes millions of protesters marching in our cities' streets!

The only way to make America or the world safe again is if he went to Mars!

I watched a help of stuff this morning suggesting that Trump is not a good reader, in fact may not be able to read much at all.
