Going From Mylot To Youtube

Preston, England
February 9, 2017 3:47pm CST
quite a few of us are sharing Youtubes now, and it is a shame that we can't add both a Youtube and a photo to our articles. Also, what I find odd is that while clicking on a Youtube link, such as to a music video, I am first taken to an independent window that asks me if I'm sure I want to leave the Mylot page being visited - as both the warning page and the youtube itself are in seperate windows to the Mylot page I'm not uite sure why this middleman warning page needs to surface at all. I'm glad you asked because I have never understood why that page appears either.

The warning about leaving the Mylot site does seem rather superfluous.

@JolietJake One definite benefit with the outbound page is that it opens in a new tab, so can be simply closed rather than encountering other redirect pages while trying to back arrow.

I open it in a new window so that the one that has it stays for commenting/responding.

Some others have wondered about this too. The video shared here is hilarious and one we often refer to when we hear someone who is like "Sister Bertha Better than you" speak in our presence.

Are you sure you can't have a photo of your own on top and the link to a video below? Or is it that you'd like both images to show up together? I've not done any youtube video links in the recent past, but I have used my own photo before when sharing a link and both have shown up on my post when opened.I know that if we don't use our own photo it takes the image from the link and uses that instead.
