The finish line is in sight!

You have seen the photos and listened to my stories about my bathroom counter tops. Well, the finish line is in sight.
The two young men showed up near noon time yesterday and were finished by 2:30 pm. We made a few minor changes to the original layout. There was a corner shelf - which we eliminated and we had them make the backslash higher. It worked out really nice.
We have to wait 24 hours before installing the faucet - so that will happen in a few hours. My husband has all the faucet parts and tools laid out and ready to go! Our neighbor is going to help - he can get into a small space much easier than my 6 foot tall husband!
The smell of the glue hasn't quite gone away yet, but it is far better than it was yesterday at this time. I don't know how those installers get used to the smell!
With a little luck we should have a functioning bathroom once again!
Photo is mine.

@AbbyGreenhill that would get irritating, having to work around it all

Thanks...they are still hooking up the faucets - we ran into a few glitches - good thing our neighbor is around to help.

@AbbyGreenhill I do not know if I would prefer the stinky perfume or the smell of the glue.

The smell has still not completely gone away - but right now it is very mild. Oh, and the neighbor had on his stinky perfume or whatever he uses....so that smell overtook the glue smell for a while.

As soon as we have water I will like it a lot more...Then we can move stuff back into this room - we have toothpaste, etc. in two other bathrooms so we do a lot of walking around!!!
