often when people watch family guy,they ask me to explain some of the things on the show..beings as i actually am from RI..not to mention the fact that some jokes you'd only get if you live here. so..let's clear up a few now..'cause i'm tired of answering them. does quahog exist?nope.made up.tho i'm surprised a town hasn't changed it to cash in. does "the clam" exist?it does now.a bar upstate changed it's name. do people give long directions by what used to be somewhere?yes.yes we do. what's the deal with barrington?barrington is small.wicked small.there's no big ass hotel,golf courses or anything like that.that's why it's funny.and yes we do say wicked. do newporters sound like lois? no,lois sounds like she's from cranston.. what's up with that talking bug?that bug exists.it's nibbles woodaway,ne pest control's mascot. where do you think quahog would be?judging from the view outside their house,it has to be either pawtucket or cranston.but since peter works at pawtucket brewery,y'know.. pawtucket patriot beer?looks like sam adams beer to me. would adam west really get elected?probably.seriously. and finally..rhode island has talking dogs?if we did,they'd probably work for the state.although they couldn't do any worse then we got now. and that's what grinds my gears.
