Last night, my girlfriend and I went to one of our local bars for dinner and beers. It wasn't really a Valentine's thing, rather, we were hungry and hadn't been out in awhile. This particular place has pretty good food for a bar, and last night was no exception. As an added bonus, I got to hear "Ball and Chain" by Social Distortion over the sound system.
However, I overdid it on the beer, and I'm paying for it today. I have been extremely hungover all day. It's now 7:10 pm here, and it hasn't gotten any better.
I'm feeling grim. I've had chills all day, but when I turn on the heat, I get unbearably hot. No matter how much water I drink, I cannot get hydrated, which is a big part of the reason I am feeling the way I do. I'm kind of hungry, but can't bring myself to eat very much.
I would actually feel much better if I had a couple beers, but it's 40° out, and I'm wearing shorts (not the reason I'm getting chills.) I really don't feel like putting on pants just to walk the mile (round trip) to the liquor store just for a couple PBR's. And so I suffer.
It's days like this that I envy those of you that don't drink!

Oh so sorry you are feeling the effects of drinking Scott.

ouch, hope you're ok now. quite rare that I get hangovers oddly but they are certainly not a nice experience
