Do You Enjoy Entering Giveaways?

One of the things I decided to do this year was take up an old hobby, postcard exchanges. I took in one step forward with starting a Random Giveaway. Each month, I pick one person to send a random postcard too.
By the end of the year, I will have sent 12 postcards out across the world. Just got done getting my February postcard ready to go out in the mail. This one is headed to Texas while January's postcard was to India.
Do you enjoy entering giveaways? What types of giveaways have you entered?

You have typo in your title. You have to be careful abut entering things online, some are scams.

@AbbyGreenhill I hate when I go to a site for information and then suddenly my spam folder is overloaded with God only knows what and where it has come from. I don't even like to use DM on Twitter because so much spam comes through it.

I enter some on facebook even though I don't ever win any but it is fun trying.

Sometimes I'll enter a giveaway or an instant winner contest but there are so many that demand a phone number. I won't give that out to anyone. I made the mistake of giving it to Great Clips a few years ago and got so many spam calls and texts that I had to get a new number! So I don't enter the ones that say a number is mandatory to enter.
I like your postcard idea. Have you gotten any reply from your first one yet?

I agree with you. It seems everything demands a phone number or even an email address these days. I'm not a fan of spam in any form. I did get a reply, they were very happy to win. It's nice to put a smile on others faces.

I do my giveaway through a site that deals with postcard exchanges. Most of the people I've never met before but the site has a rating system which weeds out bad people from taking part.

No, too much spam, scams, and jams I'd rather be left alone, besides I don't win anything anyway.

I have entered over the years and won some items. My favorite is Shop Your Way, as the wins can be used to save money at K-mart and Sears. Good luck with your postcards and hope you receive 12.

I enter a few, like the DIY house giveway lol. postcrossing is a good place to do a postcard exchange
