Cave Artsy-Fartsy - Art is art, and kids are kids. We like both of those things whenever and wherever we can find them. This time around we found them underneath the coffee table that we had moved from our house in Houston, Texas to the new place in Magnolia. I suppose that it is not at all unusual that we had not looked at the underside of the big coffee table for some time now, but when I walked into the new living room of the current place, there were our grandchildren and great-grandchildren messing around underneath the coffee table - all looking at whatever was to be seen there. Turned out to be several generations of kid art. That coffee table was of large enough size to afford several generations of kids a "cave" all to themselves. Like the cave people of antiquity, those kids decorated the "cave walls" (the underside of the coffee table) with their own original cave wall art. With one of our great-granddaughters looking on, her mother, our resident granddaughter, made the point that the under-table artwork (cave dwelling stuff) should not be cleaned off or sanded away, but kept as family treasures. I agree. Image: "Cave Art" by the kids - Gus Kilthau

That's pretty cool that you have your own cave art! I'd be leaving it there too.

I agree there are memories for generations to come. Hehehehe! We can't get back to the old times but a few living memories can be a good one to take you back for a moment and feel that happy feeling. Because of those memories to cherish at heart. God bless.
