A Second Chance

I felt happiness soar inside my heart. It felt good to be alive ... for the second time! In my prior life I made mistakes and went on to do the best I could to make up for them. I was glad to know then ... that I would get to have a second life after dying from my old life. Wouldn't it be wonderful to really think like that? Be so happy that you could die, not be afraid ... come back knowing how it felt 'not to' make mistakes ... know the happiness you didn't have in the first life. We learn from our mistakes ... what I find sad is that through time someone has to be hurt a lot of times from what we've done ... said. Wouldn't it be nice to go through a life knowing everything's going to be okay ... we've made up for our mistakes in our old life? Skip and I talk about this a lot. I tell Skip that I feel sad for all we learn in our lifetimes ... and not get to use it in a new life. Wouldn't it be wonderful? I wish for a second chance.
