Card invalid!

This morning I took a walk to an ATM branch near the church. The closest over here no longer accept Cards other than theirs and Mall is still closed. My card is actually from union and the ATM's here is from different bank.
Unfortunately, the card is still invalid
. I guess weekends don't count since I got this last week Friday. Though the new password is now six numbers, it seemed easier to recognized than the one on the last which was only four numbers
I should try again tomorrow or the next day. Perhaps I will call the bank in case it doesn't work.

Yes, the best decision is to call Union Bank if there is a problem. Thanks for your post. I almost forgot that I have also an Eon bank at home. I have to check its expiration date so I can renew it soon if ever. I forgot to renew my old Eon card and I did not have any choice but to apply for another card which cost me money.

@Letranknight2015 I have my new Eon card. I use it to withdraw money from Paypal. But at present, I just use my Paypal money for online purposes.

So, you don't have an Eon card anymore? that's sad @annierose maybe you should give it a try again. But if the other card works better then why not.

The new EON is now available at Lazada and 7-11. Got my 2 cards from Lazada and activated on Android phones. I can access one from iPhone safari (username & password) and the other on android app (selfie). 
I read a lot of complaints on Facebook but my experience is just fine. I use wifi not cellular data. I am not sure if selfie requires wifi or just need a good internet connection. Selfie banking always fail when I use prepaid smart cellular data. It works when I use wifi (connect to Globe GoSurf thru iPhone hotspot).

Hopefully, your card works soon. I got a new card from another bank and although I have changed the password, it is still invalid - I can't even check my account balance in their machines.

Hello @allen0187 That's what I did this morning and it says it's invalid. Well, maybe I should call the bank this afternoon just in case. Maybe they could clear things up.

Well, good for you @allknowing though i think the last ATM used to accept series of cards from other banks. not sure why sudden change.

@allknowing The issue is not what bank, we can use VISA cards (from any bank) from ATM machines with VISA logo only and Mastercard to machines with Mastercard logo. 
some machines here have both, some has visa logo only, some has mastercard only, some has no logo

Yeah, that's what I thought as well @JustBhem and other cards I've inquired were strict with requirements. I think I got accepted because of my TIN and voters ID. yes, they have no trouble with connecting it to paypal.

@Letranknight2015 I think they can charge things if they know that number. They might need the extra 3 digits for the security code too though.

It sounds like you might need to call the bank on Monday. Can't they lock you out of trying to use the card at all after so many attempts?

@Letranknight2015 A lot of times we have to call a number to get the card activated. Usually a sticker is placed on the card itself with the information needed to activate it. The process takes less than five minutes. We also are starting to get card readers (the machines we swipe to pay for things) that activate the card upon it's first use.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I guess I should call them and have it activated. But they said I had to wait 24 hours to get activated. I was thinking weekends didn't count

Hello @josie_ Good for you but I guess an ATM here is not that quite bad. Before the BPI atm became limited to just their card holders it was accepting other cards. But thing two or more ATMs came in when a BDO branch came along here.
