Peer Ally Application

Today is the day I turn in my Peer Ally application. I have to go collect my last recommendation from my psychology professor and then drop the application off. I feel like I have a good chance of getting the position. I have 3 glowing recommendations from people on campus who are also very well liked and hold some rank at the college. Being dependable, responsible, and great communication/social skills is something that all the recommendations have said about me which I think are important qualities to have when being a Peer Ally. My job and volunteering give me other skills that I think prepare me for the position. Confidentiality is a big thing for my job since I handle all the contact information for alumni members, students, and faculty & staff. If I get the position I have to move back in a week earlier than other student for training. I also get a single private room to myself with out the extra charge. Also it will give me some experience that can help me get future internships and jobs. I am hoping I get it and really looking forward to it if I do get it.
