The Los Angeles Lakers are making big changes, as they haven't made the playoffs since 2012-13. I know this because many people in this state are mad because the team has a losing record.
Magic Johnson is the new President Of Basketball Operations for the Los Angeles Lakers. Can he fix the team? Only time will tell, as its a huge job, and there are a lot of problems.
Mitch Kupchak was fired and Jim Buss was informed he is no longer in his position. I can see this going to court, as Jim Buss is part owner of the team. His sister Jeanie wants him out.
One thing is for sure the team had to fire somebody. Basketball followers who is to blame for this team losing so many games? Many years ago I did watch basketball back when Bill Walton played and his son Luke is the coach of the team.

Magic made 3 swift moves after the shakeup. He hired a GM and Asst GM and traded Lou Williams to Houston for a valuable draft pick.

I hope the new people can help the team improve, as many of my friends use to talk about all the games they would attend. The last couple years they haven't been talking about the team in a positive way. Jerry Buss the father had a lot of winning seasons and I remember watching Magic Johnson play, so he certainly has been very successful.
