In Case You Missed Me

I went in to work a little early today as the lead teacher was going to have a meeting and I needed to touch base. I took off a couple of hours early to go with hubby on a medical appointment.
When we went to his appointment last week we were disappointed because of a lack of follow through. He has had to delay starting radiation treatment. It all turned out well though. The original doctor he saw is part of a three man partnership. It has been a change in rotation and we find this newer doctor to be much more positive.
I have not had much computer time today, and I am headed to bed now. Hope to see you more tomorrow.

They will do "mapping" of the cancer in a couple of weeks and begin the radiation within the week of that.

I think we all have days where we are so busy we do not have much time to be on here. Been praying for your husband and will continue to do so and wishing you all the Best.

Thank you so much Tina, we both appreciate the prayers. His initial treatment to shrink the prostate has been very successful. Radiation is next. Luckily he has both insurance and Medicare.

I am exhausted, so I sleep quite well. Except I have a cold again.

What type of cancer does he have? Tony finished up 34 radiations treatments today. So far the tumor has disappeared and he is getting 100 percent full air in that lung. I hope all goes well with him.

Bob has prostate cancer. Some doctors will not treat someone over seventy, but this man is healthy as a horse except for this. Good for Tony on the radiation success.

I think it is really important to get a doctor you like and trust. You can't always do that I know but it would be the ideal.

This new doctor is excellent. Evidently this is a three man partnership and they rotate from their main offices to this smaller town every few months.

@GardenGerty That is really good. People in smaller towns can find accessing health care really difficult.
