I am an avid fan of watching Oscars ever since. That is why I am really used to their jokes, laughter or any kind of gimmick. As I watched the Best Pictures category I am thinking that Warren Beatty was trying to make fun in suspense way by making it too long. Then Faye was like hurrying Warren to announce it. I also thought that it is part of the script that Warren will read the card then Faye will announce it. So there you go it mistakenly announced as La La Land. By the time that one of the producers announces about Moonlight that they won, I am so confused of what is really happening. We were actually thinking that it is part of the script copying the moment of Steve Harvey at the Miss Universe, and this is just strategy to make it controversy in the media. So all of us in the family are not that so convinced that the scene was for real. My Dad initially raised his voice when he called me as I thought he would tell something but he was also wondering if what is really happening and if it is true! My brother keep on laughing and saying it is just scripted as he is not convince. In my case I am confuse and thinking that it is overrated if they are just copying what Steve Harvey did on Miss Universe 2015 as I keep on posting to the timeline of others that nothing could still beat Steve Harvey's mistake as it is the most exciting and shocking moment and memorable as well. I just can't get over of the Oscars and still wondering of what is really happening then when I am watching the CNN news and BBC World that is how I realized of what happened is true and not scripted just to make the event controversial. I just keep on watching the replays including as well on youtube. I analyzed each scenes of what is happening on stage during the time that the producer is on speech.

We saw it happen too . . . that was really BAD! To me it didn't seem scripted, but surely it was a big gigantic error by someone (not sure who), but it wasn't the reader's fault. The whole scenario was quite embarrassing, wasn't it? I felt bad for the La La Land people - they got a big let down after thinking they had won. And the Moonlight people's glorious moment got lost in the shuffle.

Yep. I heard about it on the news and at the gym yesterday morning. A big goof! La La Land did win 4 wins out of 17 nominations overall.
