My husband's grandmother told me we should still go to my nephews birthday this weekend. His family lives 3 hours away from us. So going in general can be hard at times. Since over the weekend the kids where exposed to the family I works for kids one of them end up with Strep. In general Strep takes 2 to 5 days before you seems to show signs of having t yourself. Usually after having antibodics for 24 hours your no longer contagious. In my head I'm thinking it's best to stay home just to make sure they don't get it or if they do have it they don't pass it one. I know How other parents get about you being sick kids or possibly sick kids over to birthday parties or to visit. I don't want to be the cause of someone getting. Plus I have a cold and can give that to any one period. My husband's sister has 3 kids and I know a bunch of kids will be over to there house. I know my husband's grandmother is telling me to go or to change my mind but you don't think I'm crazy for saying we should stay home to be safe?
