And so I served. The jurors in my group listened to the tedious explanation of what we're expected to do then to the Judge (we got a talker ) Out of the 40 in my group they selected 6 for the trial. The DWI was issued 5 years ago but the trial was postponed so often because of crimes that were higher profile. I guess I'm lucky I wasn't chosen, or is it the defendant whose lucky? To me its like this, if you plan to drink get a ride home, I don't drink and drive .... oh wait, I lied, I drink water Well, it's very windy and dusty outside so I'm planning to sit around the house and play on the keyboard .... or, maybe I can find a show to watch. I can't stop yawning. maybe I'll take a nap. Have you served as a juror lately?

I have never served as a juror before. I have never been called for juror duty either.

@rebelann You are right. My husband rarely drinks, and if he does, it's only one. He drives, and I have no more than two, or I get ill.
